- Be sure to have personal valuables and documents ready for moving with you and placed in luggage to take with you or to place in the trunk of your vehicle. These items include: money, stocks, passports, birth certificates, insurance policies, jewelry, coins, and stamp collections.
- Remove all bedding from beds packing them in clear plastic bags or a well labelled box for moving to your new bedroom.
- Finish up small jobs that are left and gather toiletries and the last few dishes in the cupboards.
- Put the remaining food from the fridge into thermal type bags or the cooler to go with you for moving immediately to your new residence.
